Rosie has had 37yrs experience in the food industry. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science(Dairy Foods) from Melbourne University(Gilbert Chandler Campus) and early in her career studied Dairy Farm Management at Dookie Agricultural College.
Rosie has worked as a manager in the dairy manufacturing sector in areas of Quality Assurance, Specialty Products and Blow Moulding. She has worked as a regional training consultant for Melbourne University, assisting in the development of the National Certificate in Food Processing(Dairy), along with developing and delivering courses in Food Technology/Quality Assurance with Bendigo TAFE. Rosie has authored distance learning modules in Food Safety, HACCP and Market Milk. She worked for the Bendigo Hospital as Operations Manager, Catering, where she developed the hospitals first Food Safety Program. Rosie currently works as a private consultant and is a high risk Food Safety Auditor(cook chill), registered with DHHS. Rosie has been with the team at National Food Institute for 2 years.
