Peter Melican has worked in the Goulburn Valley food industry for 30 years. He has experience in meat processing including: Slaughtering and boning, Ham and Smallgoods production, Export transportation and cold storage, Warehousing and export documentation, Plastic thermoforming manufacturing and Export and overseas requirements for food processing
Peter’s journey has exposed him to Food Safety and HACCP Programs, ISO Quality Programs, Auditing and OH&S Management. He has been involved with workplace competency-based training for 15 years and joined the National Food Institute 12 months ago providing training in food processing, transport and logistics.
Peter’s other life sees him living in Avenel, repairing anything and volunteering with the Avenel CFA when time permits.
