History

WEB-Page-picture-1024x622National Food Institute is the culmination of an idea that was developed through informal relationships between key members of the team over many years of work in the food processing and vocational educational training sectors.

A small group of people with an interest in supporting sustainability in the food processing industry in Australia with effective outcome based assessment and training combined their efforts to create an organisation with a great balance of vision, skills, energy and experience.

In 2009 and 2010, this small group began to stimulate interest throughout their networks and began a process of recruitment of a wide range of staff with media, quality, food technology, engineering, leadership and educational skills to meet the demands of the rapid growth in the business in 2011.
