Alister Briggs

Alister has a Masters degree in Science and over 25 years management experience in the pharmaceutical and food industries. He has worked in both small and large scale manufacturing environments including milling, baking, pastry, noodles, confectionery, antipasto, dips, chutneys, condiments and sauces. His experience includes ready-to-eat, chilled, shelf stable, MAP, frozen, hot and cold filled packaged products.
In addition to training his role includes consulting and auditing in the following areas:
• Food Safety and Quality Management
• Research & Development
• Certification HACCP, WQA, Coles, YUM!, FSSC 22000, SQF & BRC
Shelf life, labelling & product compliance including PrimeSafe, DFSV & DAFF
• Occupational Health & Safety
