National Food Institute

National Food Institute is a Registered Training Organisation providing quality workplace training and assessment in the Food Processing/Warehousing and Transport and Logistics Industries.  We work closely with employers and wider industry to ensure our students receive the best learning outcomes that are only possible when students are exposed to the real work environments under close guidance and supervision of the employers.

We have been approved to deliver Government Funded Training in Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania.

National Food Institute works with many not for profit organisations and schools to provide School Based Trainees with and without disabilities with an opportunity to obtain a qualification that will help them with employment once they leave school.

We also offer specialist advice and consulting to employers via our sister company, NFI Consulting Pty Ltd in auditing to the Food Standards and Compliance, HACCP and quality systems, continuous improvement methods and due diligence.

  • An RTO may engage another organisation (that is not an RTO) in order to provide specific training and assessment to its learners on its behalf or An RTO may engage an individual or party to recruit students on behalf of the RTO.

  • An RTO may engage another registered training organisation in order to provide specific training and assessment to its learners on its behalf. The Standards for RTOs describe this type of arrangement as a third-party arrangement (Clause 5.4) or agreement (Clauses 2.3, 8.3).
